2020 SPFG program – Parents Corner

Welcome back!

The 2020 STEM Pathways for Girls conference may be over but we will continue to provide you and your daughter with support and resources. Monthly workshops that your daughter will be invited to will also begin in January.

I hope you and your daughter enjoyed the conference. The effort that was put behind it was huge and we tried our best to simulate the in-person experience as much as possible.

Here’s some more information for you and your daughter:

1- Conference Survey

We would love to get your daughter’s feedback about the whole conference. It will help us not only improve but show impact to our donors. Please encourage her and help her fill out the Conference Survey.

$50 Amazon Gift card will be raffled if the name is entered in the survey (unless you can think of a better way to do it anonymously but still have a drawing)

Survey closes Monday November 30, 2020. Extended new date!

2- Thank you e-cards

We would love for your daughter to sign a few Thank you ecards.

We have one for each workshop presenter so based on which workshop she attended, she might already have signed a few. If not, please let us know and we can send you the link to those ecards.

We have a few more to sign. Ecards will be e-delivered Thursday morning. So please sign by Wednesday night, November 18, 2020.

Essay and Video Contest

All contests are due by November 30 and winners will be announced before the end of 2020. Trying to make the year 2020 a bit brighter.

Top winners in each category will win a Dell Latitude Tablet donated by Wildflower International.

Disclaimer: Dell Latitude Tablet is refurbished.

6- Please Share with us

If you have any photos or videos of your girls in action while at the conference or if their projects, please share with us at: registration@stemsantafe.org

*This could include any work that the girls keep going with, including roller coasters, pH chemistry, soil engineering, etc.  Most of the workshops include self-exploration possibilities.
